4. Configuring Trillian
	4.2. Connection Manager
				From the Connection Manager you can: connect to your various Instant Message (IM) accounts. set which accounts connect when you start Trillian enter/change the server and port for the connection edit your security settings set your privacy settings change the webcam settings (where available) Each connection that you make will be stored in the Connection Manager so that you can easily connect to them in the future. Multiple simultaneous connections may be made for each chat medium.
		Getting to the Connection Manager
				To get to the Connection Manager you can right click the icon in the tray (by the clock) and then select "Connection Manager". You can also right click the medium icons at the bottom of the buddy list (in the default skin) and then click "Connection Manager".
		Adding a connection
				To add a connection, click the "Add" button on the Connection Manager. Pick a medium from the box that drops down. Enter your account into the Login ID or Username box. Next, enter the password and click "Create and Connect". If you add multiple accounts and want to keep the buddy lists from being merged, use the "Advanced" tab. From the advanced tab you can designate a different area in your buddy list to store that connections buddies. Use the dropdown box to select existing sections, or add a new one to the box. Once you have entered all of your information the account will appear on the main Connection Manager window. It will be there whenever you want to connect to it unless you remove it.
		Connection Preferences
				To work with a connections preferences, click the connection and then click "Preferences".

From this window you can: Make a connection log in every time you start Trillian Change the port and server for the connection Set your privacy settings and ignore lists Adjust the Webcam settings (Yahoo! only) Change the DirectIM settings Change the SecureIM settings Turn On/Off the e-mail notifications for the e-mail accounts that are attached to the mediums.
