7. Plugins
		Installing Plugins
				Select the download that you want to install and click the "Download" link. Save the file to your desktop or to a folder that you can find easily. Double-click the file. If it does not open or gives an error message, remove the .ZIP from the end of the filename. (Some systems automatically add .ZIP). The file should end with .EXE. Point to the Trillian Pro installation folder. Click "Go" to extract the plugin to the proper location.
		Loading plugins
				There are two ways you can add Plugins once you have them installed. Quick Add In Trillian Pro, go to Preferences->Plugins. Click "Quick Add". The plugins should be listed in a drop down box. Find the plugin you installed and click it. Back at the Preferences window, under "Plugins", select the plugin and configure as needed. Manual Add In Trillian Pro, go to Preferences->Plugins. Click "Add". The plugins are listed as .dll files in the plugin folder. If you can't see plugins listed, you need to go and change the folder options to view all files. Find the plugin you installed and click "Open". Back at the Preferences window, under "Plugins", select the plugin and configure as needed.
	7.1. POP3 Plugin
				The POP3 Plugin will alert you to new mail on your POP3 e-mail accounts! Once you have installed the POP3 plugin you need to add your accounts. Go to the Preferences->Plugins section and click the POP3 plugin. You will see this screen: To add an e-mail account, click the "Add" button and you will see this screen: E-Mail: This is were you put in your full e-mail address (ie: john@isp.com) Account: Enter what you want to call the account. This is what will show up in your buddy list (ie: John) Username: The username is the one you would use to log into your e-mail account. Password: Password POP3 Server Name: Enter your POP3 server here. If you aren't sure you can usually find this information in your current e-mail program. Port: Usually this will be 110. If it's not you can change it here POP3 E-mail program: This is the program that you want to use to open your mail when you double click the account in the buddy list. Use the browse button and aim it at the .exe file for your e-mail program. Arguments: Command line arguments to pass to the program. Check for mail: Enter the frequency that you would like Trillian to check for new mail.
